According to Shape Magazine, the 10 Biggest Fitness Trends for 2015 can be characterized as “back to basics”–gone are the “out-there” fitness regimens of recent years and back in fashion are old school bodyweight training exercises: push-ups, sit-ups, planks, lunges and squats. Perhaps your PE teachers knew what they were talking about after all!

The obvious upside: These exercises can be done anywhere, require no special equipment, and of course can be done with your phone tucked securely into your Smartphone Pocket!
